FSX Version
« on: November 14, 2009, 06:40:37 pm »
When will this brilliant scenery become fsx compatible?
Will it be WOAI compatable?
Will there be a free upgrade from the fs2004 version or a reduced rate?

I just got fsx in the post yesterday and am curretnly installing the necessary gamepacks etc. I have tried out the scenery and there a few issues that need to be resolved. More than likely anyone who bought the fs2004 version will get the fsx one for free.

Im unsure about WOAI?

Is WOAI just AI aircraft - as long as it doesnt update the afcad you should be ok.

Hi All,

There is a quick workaround for the WOAI aircraft not showing:

In the settings menu under Aircraft untick the "Aircraft casts shadows on the ground" tab.

Should work.

Guys calm down....WOAI is another programme nowt to do with Terry. As for issues about FSX and will this work or that. At the end of the day when Terry does release the FSX version, he is going to get a forum full of "Terry this is wrong" and "This does not work or show"

Basically im saying WAIT till its released, then have your say...

Terry has a life to live beyond flightsim, and as he has said himself, he has only purchsed FSX recently and is getting to grips with it....all good things come to those who wait.

I for one am not waiting for the FSX version tomorrow, i have it from day 1 release....i installed it and then uninstalled it, as i wont be held to ransom to upgrade my system.... its a case of all these companies planning together to make us all upgrade, as my last purchase of a system went back to store and to be fair to the shop, they said its a problem that is ongoing in the computer industry.

So when EIDW FSX is released, god help you Terry as you will be harrassed left, right & centre  :o
